Eight or more yes answers are typically found in someone who has a
Candida overgrowth condition. Often times when suffering from the effects of
chemotherapy, radiation and/or surgery, massive antibiotic loads will jump start
yeast infection problems.
- Do you crave sugar, bread, foods made with white flour, or alcoholic
drinks?
- Do you repeatedly notice any of these symptoms: rashes, cold hands and
feet, feel chilly, numbness, burning, tingling, nasal or sinus congestion,
post-nasal drip, bad breath, bothersome or persistent vaginal itching,
burning, or discharge, constipation, diarrhea, bloating, gas, or belching, dry
mouth, urinary frequency?
- Have you taken birth control pills for over two years?
- Do you have uncontrollable weight loss or a problem gaining weight?
- Do you repeatedly notice any of these symptoms: tired or lethargic, mood
swings, depression, headaches, poor memory or concentration, mentally foggy,
feel drained, depleted or exhausted, anxiety
- Have you taken prednisone or other cortisone steroid drugs for over two
weeks?
- Do your symptoms worsen when you are exposed to perfume, paint fumes,
cigarette smoke, insecticides, or other chemicals?
- Do your symptoms worsen on damp, muggy, humid days or when you are in a
moldy place?
- Have you ever been troubled with stubborn or recurring vaginitis, yeast
infections, prostatitis, or other problems affecting your reproductive organs?
- Have you had a persistent or severe case of athlete's foot, ringworm, jock
itch or other chronic fungal infection of the skin or nails?
- Have you taken tetracyclines or other antibiotics for one month or longer?
- Have you taken broad spectrum antibiotics for two months total? They are
used for respiratory, urinary, and other infections, and kill good bacteria
while they kill the bacteria responsible for the infection. This group
includes Keflex, ampicillin, amoxicillin, Bactrim, Sepra, and Ceclor.
